We were lucky enough to have Neil present to us on Mindfulness in the most uncertain of times – during COVID lockdown. It was a very timely session and all participants (myself included) thoroughly enjoyed and benefited from it. I’ve since had many of the participants thanking me for organising it, praising the session and some have told me how they’re already putting into practice some of Neil’s teachings and techniques. “Thanks very much for your time Neil – we will definitely look at booking further sessions with you.”
That says it all really – I have had a number of people thanking me for organising it, praising how good it was and especially in current times, so thank you!

The Australian Border Force were privileged to have Neil present to us on Mindfulness and Resilience in a time of uncertainty and lockdowns. Neil tailored the session to the current environment and provided practical techniques and resources that officers can incorporate into their daily lives.
The session received excellent feedback from attendees and requests for follow up sessions. Thank you so much for your time and expertise Neil.

It has been a pleasure to work with Neil Shepherd from Inner Synergy to bring the benefits of mindfulness as an early intervention strategy to those who live with Parkinson’s.
Neil’s depth of knowledge and passion in promoting this valuable skill to the Parkinson’s ACT working age cohort will bring lifelong benefits for those who choose to take up the practice of mindfulness.

A big thank you to Neil for running an eight-week pilot program of the Peaceful Kids program at Evatt Primary School. Neil’s professional approach, outstanding interpersonal skills and deep understanding of the brain engaged a group of highly anxious year 4 boys.
All participated in identifying emotions, meditation activities and discussions and all participants reported positive changes at home and school. After the conclusion of the program, these usually withdrawn students approached me several times asking when the program would continue. I highly recommend Neil’s services and look forward to working together in the future.’

A big thank you to Neil for the great “Mindfulness Experience” session you ran for us at the beginning of our school term. What a great way to put the last few months into perspective and begin the new term on a positive note.
Everyone (even the sceptics amongst us) thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the session and many of us have put into practice the skills learned.
We would definitely recommend the experience to others.

Thank you Neil, for your presentation on mindfulness for the Mental Health and Wellbeing online Expo as part of Mental Health Month ACT in 2021. We were blessed to have you share this sampler into not only how we can apply practices of mindfulness into our daily life, but to learn more about why this is so important, and how this benefits our overall mental health and wellbeing. Thank you, and I hope that in future we are able to have you back for a more in depth session to create further benefits for the Canberra community.

Neil was a pleasure to work with for the Mental Health & Wellbeing Expo as part of Mental Health Month ACT 2022. He was engaged and enthusiastic, both in the lead-up to the expo and learning a new online platform, and while presenting the workshop to raise awareness of mindfulness and its benefits on mental health. We would gladly have Neil back at our future events.

All staff attending thoroughly enjoyed Neil Shepherd’s presentation about mindfulness. As a presentation to support workers in a mental health setting, his emphasis was in the right place; on being kind to ourselves. Neil also explained to us how mindfulness can play an important role in our work with our participants and how it can have a positive impact on us, as staff, to maintain our own health and well-being.
