This screen shot was taken to demonstrate how variable our heart patterns are (early part of graph). The early BPM peaks were attributed to a participant briefly thinking and focusing on a challenging experience. The coherence technique was introduced and you can notice that the heart pattern started becoming more rhythmic, sinusoidal and coherent.
